“Is that art really going to talk to us?”

That’s what a child asked his mom during Kinetic Saturdays at the Museum Of Kinetic Art. When’s the last time a piece of fine art in a museum spoke to you?

Every first Saturday of the month, from October to April, we inspire kids of all ages with our whirling, fine-art sculptures and thoughtful theater vignettes during Kinetic Saturdays—all from the mind of Mat Bevel Company’s Ned Schaper.

The museum is a playful introduction to science, technology, engineering and math through the lens of art!

“A visit to the Museum Of Kinetic Art is worth college credit, at any age.” – Paul Schwam, architect/builder and owner of Lava Works

Kinetic art goes to school

Inspired by the success of Kinetic Saturdays, Mat Bevel Company is bringing kinetic art to students K-12 to make learning exciting and unforgettable. Students get hands-on instruction from artist Ned Schaper and inspiration from his fantastical world of Beveldom in two digital storytelling programs called “Outstanding in the Field” and “A Headset for Every Mindset.”

“There is NOTHING like Surrealistic Pop Science Theater. Mat Bevel’s Museum Of Kinetic A.R.T. – Available Resource Technology – is a true inspiration for kids of all ages!” – Steven Gendel, art enthusiast

It’s all part of fine art TV: The Mat Bevel Show

Kinetic Saturdays and these two programs will become part of The Mat Bevel Show and distributed to curious students and adults across the country.
